Fiduciary Litigation Paralegal

Job DescriptionThe Boca Raton office of Cozen O'Connor is seeking a full-time Fiduciary Litigation Paralegal to join its Private Client Services group. This position supports sophisticated fiduciary litigation matters, including guardianship, estate and trust disputes, and related probate proceedings.The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in fiduciary litigation and guardianship matters, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast paced legal environment. Probate and trust administration experience is a plus.Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions, notices, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents for attorney review Prepare correspondence to courts, judicial assistants, clients, beneficiaries, witnesses, and co counselCoordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and client meetings Manage client communications, including telephone calls, emails, requests, and case status updates Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, including indexing and preparation for hearings and trial Handle Florida e filing, e service, and e recording requirements Review monthly pre bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm billing guidelinesManage probate and trust administration files from initial client intake through closingPrepare asset information spreadsheets and organize supporting documentationDraft probate and trust administration documents for attorney reviewPrepare status letters and routine correspondence to clients and beneficiariesE file court documents and deedsWork closely with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and other professional advisorsCalendar deadlines, track follow ups, and ensure timely completion of tasksQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in fiduciary litigation and guardianship mattersProbate and trust administration experience preferredBachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required (ABA approved preferred)Strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretionProficiency with: Florida Courts E Filing PortalMicrosoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Matter management, document management and time/billing systems (e.g., Litify, iManage, Laurel, Aderant, or similar)Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple matters simultaneouslyDesire for long term growth within the firmAbout UsKnown for its commitment to action and tangible results, Cozen O'Connor has rapidly grown to become one of North America's fastest-growing law firms.
