Our engineers use Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Python, JSON, and related technologies in agile scrum teams to develop products, tools, and features that support analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled capabilities.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of features and drive them to completion through all phases of the SDLC. This includes platform capabilities, data products, and process improvement activities such as:Lead design of data platform and SQL-based solutionsPerform development of data pipelines, transformations, and orchestration workflowsDesign and implement solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Python, and JSONSupport data ingestion, storage, transformation, and distributionContribute to data platform architecture supporting analytical and operational use casesExecute unit, integration, and data validation testingCollaborate with team members to ensure consistent development practicesPartner with analytics and data science teams to support AI/ML and advanced analytics use casesHelp establish governed, scalable data foundations for AI-enabled capabilitiesContribute to standards for data quality, governance, lineage, and observabilityProvide mentoring to junior resourcesParticipate in retrospective reviewsParticipate in estimation for new work and releasesBring new perspectives to problems and be driven to improve yourself and the way things are doneQualifications, Skills, and ExperienceBachelor's degree typically in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Engineering, or another technically strong program5+ years proven ability of professional data engineering or data development experienceStrong understanding of Agile Principles (Scrum)5+ years proven ability developing with SQLFull understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing concepts3+ years developing experience with Python, Scala, or JavaHands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)Preferred SkillsAzure data servicesData platform architectureEvent-driven or near real-time data patternsAI/ML-enabled data solutionsGenerative AI or LLM-enabled workflowsData governance, metadata, and lineage tooling#LI-SSSPay Transparency and BenefitsThe stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest. Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor.
