Our Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant in Van Wert County, Ohio creates, cooks, and slices some of the highest quality deli products on the market for brands you know and trust. Cooper Farms is currently seeking 2nd shift General Production team members to join our team in Van Wert. SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm or 3:30pm-12:00amSTARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.00 with the potential of increasing to $18.25 after 90 days.ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:Operating and maintaining knowledge of the departmental equipment and operationsEnsuring that all assigned procedures are carried out in an efficient manner in accordance with production/quality/safety guidelineWorking with others to ensure all areas are up to standard and reporting any abnormalities.Accurately completing all required paperworkRequirementsMust be 18 years of ageAbility to be on feet for prolonged periods of timeMust have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to work in a cool, damp environment
