**Aboutthe Role:** As aCBRE Meeting & Events Planner, you will serve as the primary point ofcontact for the planning and execution of smallto large-sized client meetings, events, and conferences at an onsite events andconference center. This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. Theyare responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients andvisitors of a designated building. Thisis a fully onsite role Monday-Friday in Indianapolis, IN. **WhatYou'll Do:** - Developend-to-end event plans to ensure flawless execution from start to finish. - Producedetailed event planning timelines and track progress. Troubleshoot and resolveissues as they arise. - Respondto common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor. - Distributeevent orders and schedules to vendors and team defining event specifics. Createtimelines and - floorplansfor set-up, event flow, and event set up and tear down details. - Overseepre-event client planning meetings. This includes acquiring vendors, menuplanning, theme and decor, - budgets,etc. Support event communication and marketing plan. Solve issues as theyarise. - Keycontact for day of the event. Ensure seamless event delivery by the eventsoperations team and vendors. - Responsiblefor on-site coordination. Confirm load in, set up time, and verify acertificate of insurance is on file. - Supportevents team with execution. Direct event set-up and tear down, welcomingguests, supporting attendee - andspeaker requests etc. - Conductpost-event reporting and reconciliation. Suggest recommendations for continuousimprovement and - costand process efficiency. Present information to management. - Havesome knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience inapplying them. - Leadby example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. - Impactthe quality of own work. - Workwithin standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meetdeadlines. - Exchangestraightforward information, ask questions and check for understanding. **WhatYou'll Need:** - Bachelor'sDegree preferred with a minimum 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of adegree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. - Hoteland or Convention Center, Event Center Experience a plus. - Someflexibility as needed with hours of available. - EventOperations and Banquet Management Experience a plus. - Abilityto use existing procedures to solve standard problems. - Experiencewith analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. - In-depthknowledge of Microsoft Office products. CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Account Manager position is $120,500 annually and the maximum salary for the Account Manager position is $180,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
