Technical Writer IV

Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6 years or more of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of Contractor staff. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Working in Disaster Recovery Workshops and writing comprehensive DR plans is the bulk of the working responsibility for this position.
