Golf Course Mechanic

**Description** **The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.** **Job Summary** + The Golf Course Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of small engines, such as oil changes and filter changes + Maintain accurate information and reports of services + Perform minor maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and electric components of equipment + Perform various tasks associated with maintaining properly performing cutting units, including adjusting heights and minor reel adjustments + Regular equipment relocation via truck and trailer within the region + Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times **Education and Experience:** + Strong work ethic + Effective oral and written communication skills + Ability to prioritize and multitask and work in a fast-paced environment + Valid Driver's License **Physical Demands/Requirements:** + Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds + Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate + Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping **Work Environment:** + Indoor work environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, including sun, rain, and cold. **_BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer._** **_This job description is subject to change at any time._** **_BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
