Position Information: The Food Service Manager position performs a variety of functions related to the operations and oversight of a Central Food Service Kitchen. Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 184 day calendar Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary. FLSA Status: Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $35.05 per hour. Additional step increases from $35.05 to $36.92. Special Licenses/Requirements: * Food Handlers Permit * National School Lunch Programs are federally funded and require food service workers to attend a minimum of 6 hours of annual paid training (provided by the school district). * Certified level 1 or willingness to obtain SNA certification within 90 days Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of progressive work experience in a food service kitchen or commercial kitchen.
