Technician II

Description:Pay Rate: $31/hr Job Title: Master Technician: Performs electrical and mechanical assembly and testing of engineering prototypes and production samples at the direction of the project engineer or lab manager. Documents test plans and procedures, assembles test equipment and fixtures, performs tests, records and /or reviews data, and provides detailed written test reports. o An Associate Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Technology from an accredited institution of higher learning is required. o Minimum 5 years of related technical experience. o Aptitude in the use of hand tools for mechanical assembly and electrical soldering and wiring of test apparatus and devices to be tested. o Ability to read and understand electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, basic electric circuit troubleshooting. o Ability to design and construct basic test fixtures as required to perform necessary functional and environmental tests. o Use of electronic test equipment: power supplies, electronic loads, DMM, Oscilloscopes, etc. o Must have good communication, organizational skills. o Must be self-motivated and able to complete tasks with little supervision. o Must be able to lift 40 Lbs.
