HVAC Technician and MaintenanceMaintenance at OptimaAre you hardworking? Do you like a fast-paced, exciting environment? Are you a problem solver? As a HVAC Technician for Optima, you will have the opportunity to work directly for the developer performing maintenance service for a luxury apartment community. You will work on-site exclusively at our Optima Sonoran Village property each day. There will be minimal driving, if any, and you will work with an easily accessible flat rooftop when needed. You will complete service requests, preventative maintenance, and other functions throughout the property. Optima is committed to delivering extraordinary living through design, innovation, sustainability and management.What You'll DoHVAC trouble shooting and repairBi-Annual HVAC preventative maintenance plan and executionOversee HVAC inventory and orderingAssist with training team on proper HVAC repair methodsComplete resident work order requestsPerform general maintenance repairs such as plumbing, general carpentry, small appliances, etc.Record and maintain logs and notes for both HVAC and regular work ordersServe on the on-call team, rotating after hours availabilityGeneral upkeep of the property and grounds including amenity areas.What You'll NeedUniversal HVAC CertificateOutgoing and positive attitude with exceptional customer service skillsStrong communication and people skillsAbility to work independently, expertly, and to multi-taskReliable and responsive with a strong work ethicGeneral maintenance knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall and appliance repairPossession of a current and valid driver's licensePhysical capacity to lift 100 lbs., including lifting and moving packagesWork a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays.High school diploma or equivalentBenefits and Perks Pay range: $28-$30/hour, plus bonus Competitive benefits and great perks make a huge difference; we get that, so you'll get them too.
