Job SummaryThe Barback supports bartenders by maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar, preparing garnishes, and ensuring smooth bar operations. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and excellent teamwork skills.Key Responsibilities Assist with opening and closing duties including restocking garnishes, towels, and glassware. Maintain inventory of ice, liquor, wine, and beer.Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing kegs. Keep the bar clean by wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.Memorize cocktail recipes and menu items.Support bartenders with taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, and processing payments.Engage with customers, answer questions, and handle complaints. Monitor stock usage and assist in reordering.RequirementsQualifications & RequirementsAbility to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods.Must have valid food handler's cardMust have valid TABC certificationHigh school diploma or equivalent. Meets legal minimum age to serve alcohol.Knowledge of bar menu items and basic drink preparation.Excellent communication and time management skills.Ability to lift heavy items and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
