Description Experiential Marketing/Motorsports - Account Director Level - HybridDo you have a passion for Motorsports and Experiential Marketing?Campbell Marketing and Communications is looking for an Experiential Marketing Account Director to join our team.Our Experiential Marketing Account Director is responsible for managing members of a designated Account Team to ensure client satisfaction. They manage several aspects of one or more accounts, including client consulting, project management, and account development. They make new business presentations and develop new business opportunities. The person in this role participates in the client's key planning and strategy sessions.Motorsports experience preferred, but not required.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Directly and through team members, builds and maintains client relationship(s) and seeks to expand business with existing client(s). Manages one or more accounts and provides high quality services to clients, individually and through oversight of project manager or teams. Prepares and assists in the presentation of proposals and program recommendations. Responsible for the management of the team including recommending employment and compensation actions (hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations); managing team member performance, training and development; and building teamwork and effective communication within the team and between organizational units. Provides leadership and ensures team member adherence to company policies and procedures, including quality, finance, and human resources. By working with the Corporate Service departments, ensures team members have proper equipment and working conditions to perform their jobs. Responsible for managing account team financial performance to meet established goals. Completes additional duties as assigned. Adheres to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and all other company policies, procedures, and processes.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Knowledge of principles of marketing communications, normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree or advanced degree. Six to eight years of experience in marketing, experiential events, brand positioning, public relations, or other related fields. Analytical skills necessary to manage financial aspects of account relationships, study industry trends, research competitive issues and make client recommendations. Accomplished written communication skills necessary to write and edit effective proposals, presentations, press releases, etc. as required by the specific position. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Interpersonal communication skills necessary to build and maintain effective client relationships, lead project team members, and interface with management. Ability to handle multiple project elements. Supervisory skills necessary to lead and manage a team.Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field. Experience: At least six to eight years of relevant professional experience. Work Environment: Will require travel and/or weekend and evening hours. Salary range starts at $75,000.00 annually - negotiable based on experience This is a U.S. based/Michigan based position.
