Quality customer service is expected to be provided at all times. Knowledge and willingness to learn all aspects of the job is a requirement of the position.Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Experience: o Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in food services or a related field. o Must have one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory role. o Must be able to pass ServSafe Certification or equivalent (example: Preventative Med Food Certification); within 90-days from your start date. • Must have the ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. • Must be able to interact appropriately with customers and team members. • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s). • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.Essential Functions:Duties may vary depending on contract specifications and building assignments. Field Operations • Assist management in the daily operation of specific contract services delivered to customers in a timely and quality manner. • Supervise custodial staff. • Conduct QC inspections as directed by the Project Manager. • Assist with job training for staff, including safety lessons from TRG training materials. • Orientate and train new team members in the safe and proper operation of equipment as necessary. • Distribute work assignments to team members as directed. • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair of equipment as necessary. • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure it functions properly. Promptly report worn and broken equipment to supervisor. • Be responsible for keys, combinations, and equipment and/or asset control. • Be responsible for securing the building when work is complete. • Assist with establishing and maintaining a positive relationship with customers. • Respond to customer complaints. • Perform direct contract functions and/or labor 25% of the workday. • Attend required TRG training. • Perform duties required by site-specific statement of work. Team Leadership (Supervisory) • Manage team members to promote maximum productivity, achievement of program goals, and favorable team member retention. • Address team member complaints per company policies and procedures. • Maintain current competence through continuing education. • Maintain compliance with mandatory training requirements.Physical Requirements:May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours and weekends and holidays. While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive) and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds. May be required to remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snow shovels or snowplows.
