Description CNC MachinistGlen Burnie, MDFull-TimeAbout the RoleADDMAN Precision is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join our Glen Burnie, MD team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce high-precision components supporting aerospace, defense, and industrial programs. This position plays a critical role in delivering quality parts that meet exacting customer and regulatory requirements.This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and requires U.S. citizenship. What You'll DoSet up, operate, and perform daily maintenance on CNC manufacturing machinesProduce high-quality parts in accordance with engineering drawings and specificationsFollow all safety policies and strictly adhere to proper use of PPESelect and properly use tooling, fixtures, and inspection equipmentPerform in-process and final inspections, verifying dimensions and tolerancesInspect sizes and geometries down to tight tolerances (as fine as .0002")Assist in developing efficient and repeatable machining methodsIdentify and resolve machining or process issues, escalating as neededSupport continuous improvement efforts on the shop floorProvide guidance and mentorship to less experienced machinists when applicableMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned by supervision Must-Have Skills and Experience(Required for consideration)Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience operating CNC mills and/or lathesStrong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesWorking knowledge of machining tolerances and quality standardsCommitment to a safety-first cultureAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishEligible to work in the United States without sponsorship Nice-to-Have Skills(Preferred but not required)Experience with manual mills and lathesProgramming or editing at the machine controlExperience with multi-axis or complex machiningFamiliarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing environmentsExperience mentoring junior machinists Who You AreDetail-oriented with a strong focus on qualitySafety-conscious and process-drivenDependable and self-motivatedComfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentTeam-oriented with clear communication skills Additional DetailsLocation: Glen Burnie, MDSchedule: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PMCompensation: $22.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on experienceEmployment Type: Full-TimeITAR Requirement: U.S. citizenship required Work EnvironmentManufacturing shop environment requiring PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoesExposure to typical shop noise, machinery, and ambient temperatures Physical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsWalking on level surfaces throughout the shiftReaching above shoulder height and below the waist as neededLifting and handling materials using proper lifting techniquesAbility to work in confined spaces while following safety protocolsAbility to meet physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation Equal Opportunity EmployerADDMAN Precision is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
