Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support assembly areas to determine the best manufacturing process with a strong emphasis on lean manufacturing principles, safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations, playing a vital role in ensuring our reputation as a premier provider of instrument, avionics, and aircraft power solutions is upheld. Responsibilities * Serve as a technical liaison with engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements. * Partner with the quality team to establish and maintain quality procedures, including inspection and testing methods. * Perform root-cause analysis on product/process failures to recommend and implement corrective actions to eliminate problems. * Maintain standardized work documentation. * Prioritize lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies to meet efficiency, productivity, quality, and reliability. Essential Skills * Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. * Minimum two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training, and work experience. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced analog and digital electronics. * Knowledge of electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing processes. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office. * Strong attention to detail, organization, focus, and results orientation. * Problem-solving skills with critical thinking and prioritizing abilities. * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Certification in Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma (preferred but not required). * Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (preferred but not required). Work Environment You will work both independently and with a team, receiving strong support in a mid-sized company with about 150 employees. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
