Material Handler - General Labor (2nd Shift)

Material Handler/General LaborPay: $19-22/hr. Shift: Mon-Fri (2:30pm to 11pm) - Must be able to train on 1st shift (6am start) Description:The Material Handler/General Laborer will be moving metal within the shop on 2nd shift and assisting with other tasks in the structural steel shop when needed.Requirements:Prior material handling experience in a manufacturing environment; metal shop environment is a plusBasic math skills and ability to read a tape measureRead and interpret maps, sketches and drawingsMust have reliable transportation to and from the fabrication shopJob Responsibilities:Operate forklift and overhead cranesPerform and/or assist with operation of saws, shear and bending equipmentMeasure, cut or shape metalClean and prepare workstations by removing debris and possible hazardsLoad or unload raw materials and fabricated steelEnsure adherence to safe work practices and proceduresPerform and/or assist with the painting and blasting operationsPerform other related duties and responsibilities as requiredBenefits:Health/dental/vision/disability insurancePaid time offPaid holidays401k with employer match and 100% vesting from the beginningPaid weeklyCompany Paid Life Insurance
