Description Housing Coordinator Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact? Join our team as Housing Coordinator At MHMR, your expertise will directly contribute to programs that make a lasting impact. The position of Housing Coordinator provides housing services to clients in the MH Jail Diversion Center. The Housing Coordinator will screen for housing needs and work with internal resources and community agencies to obtain housing solutions for clients. This position will also participate in treatment team meetings to assist in the development of transition planning for clients transferring from the MH Jail Diversion Center. The Housing Coordinator will be responsible for staying current on housing programs within the community. As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will provide service coordination and/or specialized skills services, to developmentally delayed infants, toddlers and their families as identified in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and from the point of referral to eligibility determination. Ensures that all (0-3) children are served timely and appropriately and in keeping with their procedural safeguards, rights and needs. Focuses on supporting the parent-child relationship so that positive outcomes can occur. It comes to the belief that parenting is the most important job there is and that every parent/caregiver can be successful. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Defined Education: Adaptive Physical Education, Child Development, Child Life, Communication Disorders, Family Studies, Health, Human Development Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitative Counseling/Rehabilitation Services, Sociology, Special Education Preferences: One (1) year ECI or related human services experience with children ages birth to 3 years old, Bilingual preferred Substitutions: Any bachelor's degree with a minimum of 18 hours of semester course credit relevant to early childhood intervention, including 3 hours of semester course credit in early childhood development or early childhood special education OR Be registered as an EIS in the State of Texas prior to 09/01/2011 Years' Experience: None Defined Experience: None License/Certifications:Valid Texas Driver's License Why Choose MHMR as Your Employer MHMR offers an excellent and competitive benefits package designed to support the wellbeing of our employees and their families.
