ENTERPRISE: WE-KO-PA CASINO RESORTJOB TITLE: PLAYER SERVICES EXECUTIVE HOST DEPARTMENT NAME: MARKETING REPORTS TO: MANAGER OF VIP PLAYER SERVICES SALARY: DOEPOSITION STATUS: REGULAR FULL-TIME, FLSA EXEMPTHOURS PER WEEK: 40 JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Manager of VIP Player Services, the Executive Host is responsible for driving incremental gaming revenue from targeted player levels. This role focuses on providing the highest level of guest service, developing and executing VIP events, and implementing strategies to attract and retain high-level casino guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:• Provide exceptional guest service to external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye.• Responsible for driving incremental gaming revenue from targeted player levels.• Responsible for developing and executing VIP events. Prepares and maintains the pre-forma and post-forma for each VIP event.• Works within the assigned budget for each event.• Performs all functions in accordance with applicable state, federal, and other laws and gaming regulations.• Recommends and implements strategies to develop new players and increase return visits for high-level casino guests to increase profits. • Makes room reservations and arranges for amenities as necessary for casino guests.• Completes all necessary paperwork (i.e., comp slips, reservation request forms, etc.).• Respond to guest complaints in a considerate, professional, and positive manner.• Proactively seeks out new business on the casino floor, introducing the benefits of and soliciting enrollment for the Fortune Club.• Maintains current knowledge of all daily, weekly, and monthly promotions and VIPevents. • Prioritizes, organizes, and completes multiple activities in a high-pressure environment and works a varying schedule to reflect business needs.• Denotes significant time to be visible and available on the casino floor to greet guests during individual visits and special events.• Must always maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.• Assist with special events and promotions as needed.• Communicates with premium-rated guests through telemarketing, letter writing, email, or in person about promotions, services, and special events.• Supervises calls to ensure VIP club members and potential customers are reached professionally, friendly, and courteously. • Responsible for training the Player Services Host position. • Additional job duties include a bi-weekly report to the Marketing Director summarizing activities (parties, events attended, off-property contacts, recruiting/enhancement ideas).• Performs other duties as required.• Must obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including extensive background and fingerprint check).• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.• Must be at least 18 years of ageWORK CONDITIONS:• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:• Stand and walk for 67-100% of the workday.• Bend, reach, and use eye/hand coordination for 34-66% of the workday.• Sit for 1-33% of the workday.• Communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone for 34-66% of the workday.• Exposed to varying temperatures when moving between indoor and outdoor areas for 34-66% of the workday.• Exposed to a high level of noise on the casino floor daily.• May occasionally lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.DA minimum of 3-5 years of Casino host, marketing, sales, or customer service experience is required.INDIAN PREFERENCE:Preference will be given to qualified applicants from federally recognized Indian tribes.
