In this role, you will be responsible for upholding and enhancing the quality of supplies from North American suppliers, in line with Pilatus contractual agreements. This role is pivotal in auditing suppliers, monitoring and resolving quality issues, and implementing strategies to boost supplier performance to support production and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesSupplier Quality and Performance ManagementConducts thorough audits and periodic reviews of supplier operations to ensure compliance with Pilatus standardsActively monitors, analyzes, and resolves supplier quality issues, ensuring timely and effective solutionsManages risk assessments and evaluations of supplier capabilities to anticipate and mitigate potential issuesApproves and renews qualifications for aerospace suppliers, maintaining Pilatus standardsSupplier Relationship ManagementDevelops and sustains strong, productive relationships with suppliers to enhance communication and collaborationFacilitates ongoing supplier development tasks and supports suppliers in achieving compliance with Pilatus quality requirementsProvides support and direction in the approval of new aerospace suppliers for FAA CFR Part 21, 145, AS9100 norm and EASA Part-21 regulationsStrategic and Operational SupportImplements supply chain strategies, contributes to process improvements, and participates in special projects to optimize operationsRequirementsSkills/QualificationsBS Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent training and experience5 years of experience in the aircraft industry, preferably within supplier quality managementWillingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally (~15%), at times on short noticeExceptional relationship-building skills, capable of interacting effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholdersHigh level of organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasksProficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) What We Offer11 paid holidays a year, plus 15 days of paid vacation time, and 6 days of paid sick/personal time to start with an increase to 20 days of paid vacation time after 5 years with Pilatus90% of medical, dental, and vision premiums paid for single coverage and 80% for family coverage, averaging $9,600 annuallyMonthly health savings account (HSA) contributions totaling $2,250 for single coverage and $3,000 for family coverage annually401(k) retirement plan matching up to 6%Life and long-term disability insurance premiums paid in fullTuition assistance available annually after the first yearThe salary range for this position is $72,685 - 98,125 per year depending on experience.
