Project Manager

MAIN OBJECTIVES:The Project Manager is accountable for directing a cross-functional team of engineers, department leaders, and other internal & external stakeholders to deliver on a project scope. At Double H Plastics, the project manager will be responsible for a diverse range of project types including: new product development, facility enhancements, equipment / infrastructure installation, and operational continuous improvement. The Project Manager will play an integral role in the development of a Stage Gate process for New Product Development and be responsible for establishing & standardizing a Project Management Process PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:For all projects, define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelinesFor all projects, develop detailed project plans which account for resource allocation & budget monitoring Monitor project progress throughout the project via project dashboard, action register, and recurring project meetings. Report project health based on KPIs.Oversee equipment installation, upgrades, or relocationsCollaborate with colleagues to ensure that product and equipment qualification conform to standardized processes. Manage production ramp-up activities with operational peers.Create a standardized project management process fr all project types.QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor's degree: Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar technical discipline Required knowledge:5-7 years of direct project management experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in Project Planning, use of MS Project, and MS Office SuitePassion for project management & organizationProject Management Professional certification is a nice to have, but not requiredUse and knowledge of Power BI and statistical analysis tools are a plusExperience in injection molding is a plus Skills/Abilities:Very well organized with keen attention to detailStrong written and oral communication. Excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable interacting with people at all levels of the organization on a daily basis. Able to "read the room" and conduct one's self appropriately. Self-motivated, ambitious, and integrous: able to complete tasks with little assistance; determined to succeed; chooses to do things the right way even when it takes longer or there is pressure to take shortcutsAbility to apply influence on stakeholders and partners in the interest of the project and the overall business Physical Requirements:Standing and walking as needed between office and manufacturing floor or other departmentsOccasional lifting or carrying items up to 50lbsOccasional reaching, bending, stooping to access machine areas Safety: To maintain proper safety standards according to established Sanitary and Housekeeping Practices (GMP Compliance). Proper use of all safety equipment i.e.: proper use of personal protective gear including hairnets, gloves and safety glasses.
