CNC Programmer - MasterCAM - OR area - Remote possible - 0411Our client in the OR area is an Engineering and manufacturing Company that specializes in the fabrication and design of machined parts, sheet metal parts and assemblies and is looking for a CNC Programmer utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD/CAM systems, machining processes and manual programming techniques to generate NC code to produce parts from blueprints and manufacturing planning. Main Duties: Set tools per job requirements. Change cutting tools and adjust feeds and speeds per job requirements.Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprintsUse computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordinglyPerform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specificationsAdjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining qualityConsider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordinglyTroubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arisePerform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpeningTrain new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programsQualifications: High school or equivalent (Preferred). Machining: 3 years (Preferred).Familiar with MasterCAMGeneral knowledge of standard M and G-Code language, machine offsets, and part locating Must be able to perform minor edits to the program at the machine as needs. Must be willing and able to set up and operate multiple machines at a time. Must be fully familiar with common inspection equipment and perform preliminary inspections of your work.
