About the RoleA growing construction management firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role carries full responsibility for project financials, schedules, quality, client relationships, and team leadership. Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage overall project logisticsMaintain full financial responsibility for assigned projectsSupport preconstruction efforts, including scope development and subcontractor buyoutIssue and manage owner and subcontractor change ordersPrepare and update monthly cost reports and financial forecastsCollaborate with project teams to develop and maintain project schedulesEnsure quality standards are met through checklists, site visits, and pre/post-installation reviewsReview plans and specifications; develop scopes of work for subcontractors and vendorsIssue subcontract agreements and purchase ordersLead project meetings and coordination meetingsManage RFIs, submittals, and overall document controlMaintain updated plans and specificationsEnsure timely procurement and delivery of materialsPrepare owner pay applications and review subcontractor pay applicationsManage project closeout activitiesNegotiate subcontract change orders and manage allowance reconciliationMaintain detailed and accurate project budgets throughout constructionEnsure compliance with all prime contract requirements, including documentation, insurance, deadlines, and cost controlsEnforce project safety protocolsCommunicate clearly and professionally with clients and consultantsLead, train, coach, and mentor team members and direct reportsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal teams QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of construction project management experienceStrong background in cost auditing, forecasting, billing, and financial reportingProficiency with MS Project, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and accounting/project systems such as Sage 100 (preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectivelyHighly organized, detail-oriented, and results-drivenStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressureValid driver's license and insurabilityDemonstrated leadership, accountability, and urgency in achieving objectivesAbility to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing project conditionsStrong collaboration and client relationship management skillsWillingness to learn new systems and accept coaching BenefitsEmployer-paid health insuranceEmployer-paid short- and long-term disability insuranceEmployee-paid dental and vision insuranceEmployee-paid life insurance401(k) with 4% employer matchPaid Time Off8 paid holidaysPhone allowanceGas card/EZPass or company vehicle
