ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Key ResponsibilitiesProactively solicit and secure group, meeting, and event business across assigned market segmentsRespond to RFPs and develop compelling proposals aligned with resort capabilitiesConduct site inspections, client presentations, and contract negotiationsBuild and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecastsCollaborate with Revenue Management, Catering & Events, Marketing, and Operations teamsRepresent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and client functionsMaintain detailed account and activity records in the CRM systemDeliver an elevated guest experience through warm, engaging interactions with clients, guests, and group members.Maintain courteous, empathetic communication to build lasting relationshipsSafety, Compliance & Operational IntegrityMaintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety protocols.Uphold industry best practices, following the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and state/federal regulations.Attend weekly BEO meetings and operations stand-ups to stay aligned on event execution.Perform all duties with professionalism, timeliness, and alignment with Chamonix Hotel Casino's service standardsRegular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Qualifications2-5+ years of hotel or resort sales experience, preferably full-service or luxuryDemonstrated success selling group rooms and/or catering & eventsExperience with Corporate, Association, Government, and SMERF segments preferredExperience with Agilysys Sales & Catering and Stay is a plus; proficiency with other hotel CRMs (Delphi, Salesforce, etc.) is acceptableStrong understanding of hotel sales processes and revenue optimizationExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficient in Google applications, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.Strong team player with a high level of dedication and professionalism. Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to meet strict deadlines and thrive in a high-pressure environment. Strong organizational skills, with proven experience in problem-solving and workload prioritization. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent in education and experience. 1 to 3+ years of recent and related office experience preferred.Gaming experience and/or Colorado Group Sales experience is a plus.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License with a clean driving recordOTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Possess the ability to perform basic mathematical computations, work a 10-key calculator by touch, and demonstrate basic computer skills, data entry, and filing paperwork, both online and in paper copies. Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude for problem-solving.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve sitting while completing paperwork or using a computer and kneeling and squatting. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack, store, or move general office supplies, equipment, and storage boxes. Essential duties involve a standard workweek with additional hours as needed.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:Compensation starts at $65,000+ based on experience & commission.
