Duties of Activities Assistant: Assist Activity Department with daily programs for residents based on individual residents' needs, abilities, and interests Running the daily activities based on the monthly calendar Transporting residents to and from activities Assist residents with daily activities to promote residents' highest functional level Be patient and sensitive to the residents' needs Must be comfortable working with memory loss/dementia Maintain attendance records for resident activities on a daily basis Assist with the seasonal decor of the facility Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning up after parties and programs Other duties assigned by Activity Supervisor Requirements for Activities Assistant: Must have a cheerful and positive attitude Knowledge of PointClickCare Activities Assistants may start as early as NEXT WEEK!
