Controls Technician

Responsibilities: * Installation of control wiring, controllers, sensors, and software. * Ensures high levels of customer satisfaction. * Manages assigned work to meet professional execution, of time and customer satisfaction in an ethical matter. * Provides training to customers on electronic control systems operations. * Diagnoses and repairs complex electronic system malfunction's. * Provides support and training to the mechanical staff on building automation systems. * Other duties related to the programming, commissioning and servicing of building controls and facilities management systems as assigned. Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years of industry experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems * Understanding of typical HVAC systems such as boilers, chillers, heat pump systems, air handlers, and terminal equipment. * Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people. * PC experience required and the ability to program HVAC related software. * Preferred: Experience with Tridium, Carrier, Metasys, Trane, and any other controls systems.
