Celestial Hope Rising Services (CHRS) is offering Counseling (LGPC-track) and Social Work (LMSW-track) internships at the practicum, advanced, and combined levels. Interns receive structured training, weekly supervision, and progressive caseloads in outpatient mental health with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Join Celestial Hope Rising Services (CHRS), a community-based outpatient mental health clinic committed to providing high-quality, culturally responsive care to children, adolescents, adults, and families.We are now accepting applications for Practicum/Generalist, Advanced/Internship, and Combined placements for the upcoming training year.Why Intern with CHRS?Structured 3-Track Program: Choose from Generalist/Practicum, Advanced/Internship, or a Combined full-cycle placement.1-Week Training Intensive: Compliance, safety, documentation, and clinical skills training completed before you carry a caseload.Supervision & Support: Weekly individual supervision with an LCPC (Counseling) or LCSW-C (Social Work) + bi-weekly group supervision.Progressive Caseloads: Structured growth from shadowing to independent practice.Community Engagement: All interns participate in outreach, psychoeducation, or resource development to broaden their skills.Pipeline to Employment: Interns who complete their Advanced Internship/Field Practicum with CHRS are eligible for a guaranteed conditional employment offer as an LGPC or LMSW Clinician (contingent upon passing licensure exam).Program TracksTrack A: Generalist / Practicum Placement (Introductory)Counseling Practicum: ~100-150 hours (40-50 direct).Social Work Generalist Field: ~400-500 hours.Light caseload, shadowing, co-leading groups, and case presentation capstone.Not hire-eligible, but priority consideration for Advanced placement (pipeline bonus).Track B: Advanced Field / Internship Placement (Hire-Eligible)Counseling Internship: 600+ hours (240+ direct).Social Work Advanced Field: 500-600 hours.Independent caseload (10-18 clients), group leadership, advanced documentation.Capstone: Training, workshop, or program initiative.Guaranteed conditional employment offer as Clinician (LGPC or LMSW) upon licensure exam passage.Track C: Combined (Generalist + Advanced)Counseling: 700-750 hours total.Social Work: 900-1,100 hours total.Complete both phases at CHRS for seamless training.Two capstones (Generalist + Advanced).Hire-eligible upon completion of Advanced stage and licensure exam.What We're Looking ForCurrent enrollment in a Master's in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work program.Ability to meet university requirements for practicum/field placement hours.Commitment to learning, cultural humility, and ethical practice.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Willingness to engage in rigorous training and feedback.Interview & Selection ProcessTrack A (Generalist/Practicum Students)Step 1: Application Screening (resume, cover letter, proof of enrollment).Step 2: Phone/Video Pre-Screen (20-30 min).Step 3: First Interview - Behavioral & Cultural Fit (45-60 min). Decision Made Here. No second interview or shadowing required.Track B (Advanced Internship Students) & Track C (Combined Students)Step 1: Application Screening.Step 2: Phone/Video Pre-Screen (20-30 min).Step 3: First Interview - Behavioral & Cultural Fit (45-60 min).Step 4: Second Interview - Clinical Skills & Case Scenario (60-75 min).Mock intake/treatment plan.Documentation exercise.Panel interview.Step 5: Final Round - Shadowing & Reflection (Half-Day).Step 6: Selection & Offer.
