Job descriptionWe are seeking a full-time Family Service Counselor in Darien, IL to provide caring assistance to families in need and provide thoughtful guidance to those in advance of need.Compensation is commission-based. Must be willing to work on Saturday in exchange for a day off during the week.Responsibilities:Make sales presentations and sell funeral services and productsProspect and obtain referralsAnswer customers questions about products, prices and availabilityContact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needsComplete paperwork neatly and accurately, including all interment verification proceduresAnswer telephone inquiries about cemetery products and services for both pre-need planning and at need preparationsMake appointments for families to come to the cemetery for arrangementsQualifications:Sales experience helpful but not mandatoryMust be comfortable walking the grounds with familiesDesire to help others and earn a competitive incomeAbility to work well independently and as part of a teamCreative, outgoing and energeticBilingual helpful but not mandatoryExcellent organizational skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsPassionate approach to customer serviceStrong attention to detailBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceAbility to Commute:Darien, IL (Required)The pay range for this role is:20 - 20 USD per hour (Darien)
