Job Descriptions:Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the construction project from design coordination through to project turnover.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (e.g., MS Project or Primavera P6).Prepare, review, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.Coordinate and oversee construction sequencing, critical path milestones, and long-lead procurement.Lead and coordinate general contractors, consultants, trades, and internal teams.Serve as the primary site contact for clients, consultants, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and senior management.Facilitate weekly coordination meetings, safety briefings, and progress reviews.Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to site staff, and subcontractors.Ensure full compliance with local, provincial, and federal building codes, environmental regulations, and health & safety requirements (OHSA).Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues before they impact schedule or cost.Enforce quality control programs and coordinate third-party inspections and testing.Oversee permit acquisition, utility coordination, and municipal approvals.Track and manage construction costs, approve invoices, and issue change orders as required.Review and validate subcontractor claims, RFIs, and progress draws.Implement strong cost-control measures and value-engineering processes.Assist in any additional duties, as requested.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3+ years managing projects over $100M in value.Proven experience in Ontario's construction industry and knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and permitting processes.Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, MS office.)Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Strong understanding of contracts, including CCDC and CCA contracts and supplementary conditions.
