If you're hardworking, eager to learn, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment-we want to hear from you!Purpose:Responsible for building customer relationships by traveling to customer locations to sell parts, service, and promote other aftermarket promotions. Provides exceptional customer service while supplying customers with timely and accurate information regarding accounts, products, rates, and services offered.Responsibilities:Market parts sales such as extended warranties, maintenance plans, and special parts promotions.Provide recommendations for sales of additional related or needed parts or accessories.Actively engaged and knowledgeable about the corporate parts promotion schedule.Timely and accurate processing of all orders (in-store and online). Complete orders by communicating with customers on pick-up or delivery status.Locate and obtain merchandise for customers. If not stocked, communicate with the Parts Inventory Team on items that need to be obtained.Maintain customer inventory integrity by performing cycle counts, following up on inventory discrepancies, and expediting issues to the manager.Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.Provide excellent customer service to customers at their place of business, at the counter, on the phone, and anyone internally.Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.Communicate, enforce, participate, and monitor effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.Assist in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.Other appropriate duties as assigned by manager.Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:High School diploma or equivalent experience; Associate's degree in an agricultural field preferred2+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experienceExperience connecting with customers, maintaining a professional image, and establishing rapportDemonstrate a basic understanding of the selling processDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independenceExperience working both independently and in a team settingExcellent communication skills; written and verbalAbility to work extended hours and weekendsExperience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, internet applications, and other appsAbility to use a handheld barcode scannerValid driver's license requiredAbility to lift 75 poundsDriving record that meets Employer's insurance company requirementsComprehensive benefit package for full-time team members includes:Competitive bi-weekly wagesHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company contributionsFlexible Spending Account (FSA) & Health Savings Account (HSA)Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysCompany-paid short-term disability & long-term disability insuranceLife InsuranceTeam member discountsAccess to additional voluntary insurance plansEmployee Assistance Program (AEP)Company-provided uniformsAbout TRULAND Equipment TRULAND Equipment is a John Deere dealer with 18 locations in Indiana and Ohio that supplies and services a wide range of new and used equipment for residential, commercial and agricultural applications.
