Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better togetherYOUR MISSIONTrue Anomaly is looking for you, a creative and experienced leader, to build, manage and lead a team of harness engineers in the successful development and design of harness assemblies for spacecraft, missile defense, and associated test equipment. Designs will interconnect the electronics and power subsystem within the spacecraft, missiles and test setups. Interconnected systems include power, propulsion, guidance and navigation, data and telemetry. Successful harness design and implementation is a critical part of the spacecraft system.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide leadership and mentorship, through knowledge and experience, to a team of harness engineers with varying experienceManage team in terms of department staffing, OH budget, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and day-to-day operations/taskingProvide technical expertise in electrical engineering as it relates to harness development, manufacturing, and testOversee team's work products to ensure requirements, drawings, and other deliverables are complete and aligned to program requirements/needsCreate department standards and process that define what we do, how we do it, and a quality of product commensurate to true anomalies expectationsBe the interface between leadership, programs, and engineering teams to facilitate delivery of innovative 'on schedule' and 'on cost' solutionsDrive qualification and test campaigns related to harness activities in addition to being available to programs as a SME for all program activitiesKnowledge and capability across vehicle subsystems/functionsWillingness and ability to delegate and parse tasks and data to maximize individual and team efficiencyKnowledge of harness industrial base and experience interacting with applicable suppliers and manufacturing entitiesExperience leading trade studies that balance performance needs, manufacturability, cost, schedule and riskKnowledge and experience using industry standards and process related to aerospace harness design and manufacturingWillingness and ability to lead and produce detailed engineering products or lead efforts as requiredQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering7-11 years of experience that include prior functional management or team leadership experienceExperience with SolidWorks, CATIA, NX or similar 3D CAD software; Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia or other PLM softwareExperience with specific EE development tools (harness CAD plug-ins, systems engineering based tools, PWB design tools)Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with and motivate team members, lead through influence, develop talent, and ability to seek compromise without significant sacrificeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWilling to travel 20% of the timePREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDirect harness development and manufacturing experience as an individual contributor and as a leader with direct reports in spacecraft or missile defense domainsAdvanced degree in engineering, manufacturing, or managementExperience supporting capture activities as it relates to proposing harness cost and effortBackground in detailed electrical engineering design, manufacturing, and testInnate interest, curiosity, and/or passion for engineering, space hardware, or aerospace at largeActive TS//SCI clearanceCOMPENSATIONBase Salary: $155,000-$200,000Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearanceWork Location: this role will be onsite at our Centennial, CO location, with travel to other sites as needed.Work environment is in a standard office, working at a desk or in a production factory.Physical demands may include frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items up to 20lbs.This position will be open until it is successfully filled.
