Job Title - 1st shift Press Brake OperatorJob Shift - 7am-3:30pmJob Type - Performance to HireJOB DUTIES:Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) on respective AMADA brand equipmentPerforms machine set-ups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.Check parts for conformance to prescribed tolerancesOperator/SetupReport problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or materials to Supervisor or Quality Control Specialist (QC) setup and operate machines, independently with limited supervisionEnsure the work area is kept clean and free from hazardsCollaborate with other departments as neededAssist in departmental measurable goals relating production concerns, quality and efficiencyAssist in monthly inventory count to ensure proper inventory controlActively look for ways to improve the profitability and productivity of the companySKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivatedRequires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometryRequires ability to read measuring equipment, calipers and other toolsWork independently with minimal supervisionMust work well with othersBe able to lift up to 50 lbs. routinelyAbility to stand for minimum of 8 hoursEnsure and verify parts match to customer drawingsProvide immediate feedback when problems occurEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Cad or drafting experience a plusMust have Press Brake Experience (1-2 years minimum experience) (Amada experience preferred)Steel toe boots are required.Experience with Amada HDS, HG Press Brakes or Cincinnati Press Brakes a plusAssociate can report any hazards and concerns to the Illinois Department of Labor by call the Department's Day and Temporary Labor Services Act toll-free hotline at 1-877-314-7052 or email at Staffing and QFS does not provide any transportation resources or meals for our associates during any assignments.
