You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, oversee project teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, technically sound solutions. This role blends regulatory expertise, project leadership, and client engagement - perfect for someone who enjoys both strategy and hands-on problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team of engineers and scientists to address complex environmental challenges by executing the following roles / responsibilities:Project management, including scoping, planning, budgeting, and coordinating the execution of work in accordance with established budgets and timelinesPersonnel management, direction and mentorship in completing assigned project workPerform final review of documents for technical accuracy and overall presentation Developing site specific EH&S compliance programs based on federal, state and local regulations, as well as compliance with client company directives. Examples of programs include, Lockout / Tagout, Hazard Communication, Respiratory Protection, Confined Space Entry, Emergency Action, Fire Prevention, Exposure Control, Waste Minimization, Waste Management, Contingency Planning, etc.Have the ability to help design, inform, and improve EH&S programs for various clientsPerformance of H&S audits / inspections, and providing recommendations for corrective actionsDevelop H&S management systems, including drafting of standard operating procedures, guidance documents, and training programsManagement of hazardous waste, including waste characterization, satellite area inspections, training, and correspondence with government agenciesDevelop and coordinate/conduct site specific EH&S training programs, including but not limited to, Hazard Communication, Lockout / Tagout, Bloodborne Pathogens, Biosafety, Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, Hazardous Waste Management, Respiratory Protection, RCRA / DOT, HAZWOPER, etc.Manage and assist with industrial hygiene related projects, including personal air sampling, indoor air quality assessment, noise assessments, surface wipe sampling, facility decommissioning, qualitative assessments, etc.Be motivated, outgoing, and have the ability to interact with employees and clients within various different industry settingsConduct and lead job safety analyses for jobs / tasks conducted within various different industry settingsConduct and lead incident investigations for clients following incidents occurring at client sitesPromote and uphold HRP's commitment to health, safety, and quality across all project activities and lead the Clifton Parks Health and Safety ProgramRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field7 years plus of experience in the EH&S fieldPrimary knowledge in OSHA regulations as well as knowledge of EPA and other federal, state and local regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills and strong organizational abilitiesFamiliarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Demonstrated professional judgment, consistency and attention to detailAbility and willingness to travel to project sitesAdaptability and willingness to adjust to client needsFlexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if requiredObtain CSP within 1 year of employmentPreferred:40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER TrainingPrior project or task management experienceProfessional certification in EHS (CSP, ASP, OHST, CIH or similar)Why HRP Is a Great Place to Lead and Grow:A collaborative, supportive culture that values expertise and initiativeOpportunities to manage high-impact EHS projects across diverse industriesStrong support for professional development, certifications, and continuing educationA growing office where your leadership directly influences team successA company that encourages innovation, autonomy, and continuous learningBenefits & Company Culture:The vision of HRP Associates, Inc., is reliant on the expertise of our dedicated professionals who provide excellent consultation to our loyal clientele.
