PROCESS TECHNICIAN, METAL FINISHING

METAL FINISHING TECHNICIANTrain as a Metal Finish/Electro Plating Technician in support of our processing department. This position requires a candidate who is comfortable in a small, industrial environment, can follow detailed instructions, and is excited about the opportunity to cross-train for multiple roles.MAIN DUTIES:• Learn and follow established operating procedures.• Verify racking/wiring/masking of hardware as required.• Perform cleaning and plating of hardware submitted for processing.• Work with laboratory technicians to support plating bath maintenance.• Assist with blueprint interpretations for accurate plating requirements.• Support calibrations and maintenance of process equipment.• Maintain chemical and hazardous materials inventory for processing.• Accurately record process activity for quality review.• Comply with and promote Safety and Quality programs.REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:• 2 year degree or equivalent work experience• Handing of Chemical/Hazardous materials• Math skills to calculate surface areas• Technical skills handling and calibrating process equipment.• Ability to diagnose and formulate repairs to various equipment.• Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills.OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be vaccinatedWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.
