Production Blender

Position PurposeResponsible for the accurate and efficient production of finished products. All necessary guidelines must be followed while producing the highest quality products. Ensure that we meet/exceed customer expectations for timely delivery of quality product utilizing business practices that are in full compliance with any state or federal requirements.Essential FunctionsFollow all procedures and guidelines while manufacturing products to the highest quality standardsGather raw materials and mix batches as per schedule and mix instructionsTake product and material samples to Quality Control for approvalEnsure all mixed/filled products meets ProActive quality standardsAssist in loading and unloading of raw materials, finished goods, and other freight that is delivered from vendorsResponsible for taking every safety precaution when manufacturing chemicals or handling hazardous materialsMakes sure all effluent leaving the plant is properly treated before dischargeAssist in performing general preventative maintenance on equipment including general housekeeping and cleanliness of equipment and workApplies all necessary labels and stenciling to appropriate packages and containersProficient skills to operate pallet jacks and forkliftsFollows Good Manufacturing Processes at all timesAssist in taking physical inventory when necessaryResponsible for Continuous Improvement in all aspects of productionMay be required to occasionally work evening and weekend hours as needed to ensure proper completion of dutiesAll other duties as assignedEducation/ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentOne year of production experience or similarSkillsKnowledge of safe work practicesPossess basic math skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, attentive and timely in responsesGood follow up and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously without getting flusteredCollaborative and cooperative work style internally and externally with a "can do" attitudeExcellent problem solver who sees solutions instead of obstaclesFamiliarity with MS Office software and strong computer skillsValid driver's licenseExcellent attendance recordRequirementsPhysical RequirementsAble to walk regularly around the production floor and office areas, including climbing steps, and also occasionally climbing on a ladderAble to lift up to 50 pounds unassistedAble to bend, squat, sit, and standAble to sit in an office chair, work on written assignments, and operate a computerSalary Description $20.00
