Laboratory Assistant

**Position Summary** : Professional, working alongside, and learning from Medical Technologists to perform specific duties that aid in the production of high-quality laboratory testing. **Position Requirements** : + High School Diploma preferred + Phlebotomy experience/certification preferred + Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred + Bachelor's degree in biological or chemical science is preferred + Ability to take direction and learn complex processes + Ability to work and handle all specimens for testing, including blood, urine, sputum, stool, and tissue + Ability to act professionally in person and on the telephone + Strong work ethic and good attendance are necessary Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
