Job DescriptionManual Lathe Operator Pay: $18-$21/hr (Based on experience)Shift: 1st, (Hours may vary)We are seeking a dependable Manual Lathe Operator to support our precision plastics manufacturing operation. This role focuses on operating manual lathes to produce custom plastic components in a high-mix, low-volume environment. Opportunities for cross-training on CNC lathes are available.Responsibilities:Operate manual lathe machines (no setup required)Load materials and unload finished parts safelyMonitor machine operation and identify quality issuesInspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gaugesFollow job travelers, inspection plans, and drawingsRecord production and quality data accuratelyMaintain a clean, safe work areaCommunicate issues to leads or supervisorsQualifications:1+ year of machine operation experience (lathe preferred)Basic machining and measurement knowledgeAbility to read basic drawings or instructions
