Due to our continued growth both locally and nationally, we are looking to add an Estimator to our Jacksonville Division. The Purchasing / Estimating Coordinator supports the division's purchasing and estimating operations by preparing accurate material take-offs, maintaining cost data, coordinating bids, and ensuring all construction-related information is consistent across departments. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that collaborates closely with teams in Construction, Architecture, Permitting, and Land. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed material take-offs and verify quantities for new and existing product categories. * Maintain and customize purchasing and estimating systems (BuildPro, SupplyPro, NEWSTAR experience preferred). * Collaborate with Construction and Architecture on plan changes, product selections, and cost updates. * Participate in field frame walks to confirm accuracy of take-offs and materials used. * Analyze cost data and provide insights to improve budgeting and accuracy. * Identify and resolve discrepancies in purchase orders and take-offs. * Partner cross-functionally with Purchasing, Construction, Land, Permitting, and Plan Architecture to enhance efficiency and consistency. * Support process improvement initiatives to increase accuracy, communication, and workflow efficiency. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in construction management, procurement, building sciences, or a related field preferred. * Minimum 3+ years of residential or commercial construction experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables required). * Experience with NEWSTAR, BuildPro, or SupplyPro a plus. * Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and design documentation. * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach.
