More information on NewCold can be found on and our social media.About the vacancyThe Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure the efficient planning, scheduling, and tracking of maintenance activities. This role oversees parts inventory, procurement, and work order management while supporting preventative maintenance initiatives and process improvements to enhance operational reliability. Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee parts inventory, receive and verify incoming goods, issue materials, and handle purchase requests to ensure timely availability of required resources. Schedule, coordinate, and track periodic and emergent maintenance tasks using the CMMS (Ultimo) system. Ensure all maintenance activities align with operational requirements. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to implement enhancements to maintenance strategies, ensuring compliance with first- and second-line maintenance programs. Manage the preventative maintenance program, ensuring timely documentation, execution, and follow-up of planned work. Maintain an organized storage area, register and track materials and parts, perform invoice control, and administer barcode records. Develop training materials, install visual postings for 5S and process improvements, and support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen. Work with leadership to implement and facilitate ongoing projects related to operational improvements and safety standards. Education and Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other technical planning tools.Familiarity with some parts and industrial equipment. Experience in purchasing, warehousing, and inventory management. Proficiency in ERP Systems (ULTIMO) and experience with maintenance planning, concepts, and techniques. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (excel, outlook, word) and other technical planning tools. Physical Requirements: Exposure to on site-specific conditions, including climbing, pushing, bending, standing and walking. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times. Successfully pass a SCBA fit for duty exam.
