Feed Mill Supervisor

We are searching for an individual to work in our Feed Manufacturing department at our DeMotte location. Belstra thrives on making quality feed for livestock producers of all sizes. Job Duties and Responsibilities to learn (included but not limited to): Troubleshoot production issues and develop solutions Knowledgeable and confident in the manufacturing process with ability to fill in gaps when needed Coordinate with Production Planner and Scheduler to manufacture orders on timeDownrange planning to keep production areas running with minimal downtimeEnsure company policies, procedures, and all safety guidelines are being followed by all employees Schedule employee time off and guarantee all areas are covered Work with Recruiting Manager during interviews Evaluate employees and give suggestions for improvement - employee leadershipRequirementsSkills and Requirements (included but not limited to): Quality oriented with attention to detail Able to enforce high standards and discipline when necessary Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven experience working in plant operations required Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology Excellent verbal and written communications skills Strong leadership and managerial attributes to assure tasks are completed correctly and timely while managing employees Physical Demands: Ability to regularly lift 60-poundsClimb ladders and stairs and work at heights with good body balanceWork near moving mechanical partsAbility to work in dusty, cold, hot, humid, noisy environmentWithstand exposure to seasonal weather conditionsAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentThis position requires the ability to walk, kneel, bend, climb, etc. Education and Experience: Previous manufacturing and leadership experience preferred
