PrideStaff is currently seeking an Installer for a manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a temp to hire position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.Pay Range $17-$20 (depending on experience)Shift: Monday - Friday, 6am to 2:30pm (some overtime required)Key Role and Expectations:This position will require the person to work in our production department while working as a temporary associate. Once hired permanent, position will convert into an installer position. People with construction or maintenance backgrounds tend to be best fits for this position. While working as production worker the position supports the fabrication and manufacturing of custom sports facility products, including netting, padding, and windscreens. The Production Worker plays a key role in ensuring products are accurately measured, assembled, and prepared for shipment in a safe and efficient manner.Key ResponsibilitiesFabricate and assemble custom sports facility products.Stretch and cut material to precise measurements.Safely operate equipment such as grommet machines, sewing machines (powering on/off, pedals, threading), hot knives, scissors, tape measures, and chalk lines.Identify and retrieve required materials; return unused rolls and supplies to storage.Fold, tie, and prepare finished products for transfer to the shipping department.Maintain a clean and safe work area by using PPE, following machine safety procedures, and reporting equipment failures or defects.Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, depending on task assignments.Required:Position requires recent relevant experience in one of the following fields: manufacturing or production, maintenance, or construction. Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions.Physically capable of performing fabrication tasks (lifting and pulling up to 50 lbs., standing, bending, stretching, etc.).Comfortable working in warehouse conditions affected by outdoor weather and climate.Basic knowledge of measurements and math for accuracy in cutting and assembly.Strong attention to detail, including verifying measurements, color matches, and straight cuts. Reliability in following directions and collaborating with team members.Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired but not required. Knowledge of basic hand toolsWilling to submit to a drug test and a federal level (Department of Justice) background checkAbility to join our travel teams and work out of state (we cover all travel arrangements and costs including per diems).Physically fit to do the outdoor activities once transferred to a field Installer Valid California driver's licenseBenefits once hired permanent: Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysIRS plan with 3% matchingCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
