QA Automation Engineer

Role: QA Automation Engineer Location: Pittsburg, PA (Onsite) Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: Must have good expertise in Selenium, Java and Databases with more than 10 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium and Java. Must have good expertise in using automation test framework. Must have good expertise in setting up CICD pipeline and experience in git and git branching strategies. Experience in using tools such as Maven, Eclipse/ IntelliJ , Jira, Insomnia/ Postman, SQL Developer etc. Experience in API test automation (using Rest Assured, etc.) Designing, implementing and stabilizing automation tests and taking corrective actions. Participate in defining scope, methodologies and tooling for Quality Engineering practices. Develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. Develop automated tests and test cases to ensure good test coverage of the features/user stories. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities for in-sprint, regression and release testing. Be an advocate for shift-left and automation first approach. Design, develop and execute automation scripts. Communicate with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, business systems analyst and product manager) to identify, clarify product requirements. Participate in scrum and agile ceremonies. Work closely with team leaders and architects to discuss, design and implement quality processes and practices.
