We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for installing commercial and industrial HVAC systems and equipment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on installation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.PRIMARY ACTIVITIESInstall commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, ventilation systems, and related componentsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to execute installations Assemble and install ductwork, piping, controls, and system accessoriesPerform system start-ups, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper operationCoordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on jobsite schedules and requirementsEnsure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standardsMaintain installation tools, equipment, and company vehicles in safe working conditionComplete jobsite documentation, installation reports, and commissioning paperworkCommunicate project updates, issues, and material needs to supervisorsMaintain a professional image and represent the company positively on jobsitesFollow all OSHA and company safety policies and proceduresRespond to installation adjustments or warranty-related follow-ups as neededExperience/EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredTrade school or HVAC technical training preferred2+ years of HVAC installation experience (commercial preferred)EPA Universal Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Valid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screeningCompetencies and SkillsStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and qualityAbility to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing demandsStrong problem-solving and follow-up skillsClear and professional communication with internal and external customersTeam-oriented mindset with a positive, collaborative approachCompany Benefits401k 6% matchFlexible Spending AccountMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance for the Primary Employee with 100% premium coveragePaid Primary Employee Life and AD&D Insurance CoveragePaid Primary Employee Long-term and Short-term Disability Insurance Employer Sponsored Apprenticeship ProgramCandidates interested in applying for the above position should forward their resumes via email to [email protected] with attention: Human Resources.Although we appreciate your interest in National, only those individuals selected for an interview will be contacted.
