Senior Associate Underwriter / VP of Underwriting

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Vice President of Underwriting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $200,000 per year. Job Responsibilities: Evaluate nationwide non-recourse bridge loan opportunities for commercial real estate assets.Perform underwriting, valuation, and market analysis across diverse property types and asset classes.Conduct financial modeling and prepare detailed assessments of cash flow and property value.Coordinate due diligence and closing activities with internal teams, borrowers, and third-party consultants.Develop and present investment memos to credit committees and capital partners, highlighting risks and opportunities. Requirements: A minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in commercial real estate underwriting or investment analysis.Strong proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques using Excel.Familiarity with market research tools such as CoStar and ability to interpret key real estate metrics.Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to internal stakeholders and external partners. Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline.Advanced understanding of real estate finance concepts, terms, and formulas.Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-starting approach to work.Intellectual curiosity and a problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
