NJFC operates three production facilities: Northwest Packing in Vancouver, WA.; San Benito Foods, in Hollister, CA; and Toma-Tek in Firebaugh, CA. We are looking for an Accounting Specialist II - AP to support the activities of accounts payable. This role will perform a variety of routine office and clerical activities such as organizing outgoing payments, ensuring vendor invoices are accurate, approved, and paid on time.For additional information, please see our "About Us" video, Our Story - Neil Jones Food CompanyKey Responsibilities: Processes accounts payable, verifies vendor information is correct and complete.Reviews, codes, and verifies transactions; posts accounting information to appropriate accounts.Prepares statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports.Reviews vendor statements and verifies information matches company records.Works with vendors to resolve account issues and discrepancies.Requirements:Associate degree in accounting, business management, or related field; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience and that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.3-5 years of accounts payable experience and ability to accurately perform moderately complex math problems.Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.Able to frequently to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, background check including employment and educational verification, and a credit screen.
