DepartmentFinance & AccountingJob TitleCashierOverviewThe Cashier is responsible for daily cash handling and treasury-related operational activities, including bank transactions, payment processing, and cash reporting. This role supports the establishment of an independent finance function and ensures proper segregation of duties, cash control, and compliance with internal control requirements.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess daily cash receipts and payments, including ACH, wire transfers, and checksPrepare and submit bank transactions through online banking platformsMaintain accurate records of all cash movements and supporting documentationPerform daily and monthly bank reconciliationsMonitor bank balances and support short-term cash position reportingCoordinate with Accounts Receivable on customer payment confirmationsSupport Accounts Payable and payroll teams with payment execution, as requiredAssist with opening and maintaining bank accounts, authorized signers, and bank documentationEnsure compliance with internal controls, approval matrices, and company treasury policiesSupport internal and external audits by providing cash and bank-related documentationAssist in improving cash management processes as the business expandsKey Requirements & CompetenciesAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2-4 years of experience in cashier, treasury, or accounting operations rolesHands-on experience with online banking systems and wire/ACH processingStrong understanding of cash controls and segregation of dutiesHigh level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to handle confidential financial information responsiblyBasic to intermediate Excel skillsGood organizational skills and ability to manage routine, deadline-driven tasksManufacturing or corporate treasury experience is a plusPlace of Job in the Organizational StructureReports to: Head of financeWorks closely with: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger Accountant
