Job Title: PM Banquet Houseperson (Houseman) Location: Marriott Dallas Las Colinas - Irving, TX Department: Banquets / Events Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Schedule: Flexible; mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays required Job Summary We are hiring a Banquet Houseperson to support the setup, execution, and breakdown of meetings and group events. This role is essential to ensuring event spaces are properly arranged, maintained, and guest-ready throughout each event. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping spaces organized, and works well as part of an event team. What You'll Do * Set up banquet and meeting rooms according to event diagrams * Arrange tables, chairs, stages, and event equipment * Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces during functions * Assist with room resets and breakdowns after events * Support banquet servers and event staff as needed * Transport and store banquet equipment properly * Ensure meeting rooms remain guest-ready throughout events * Follow safety and lifting guidelines What We're Looking For * Banquet, hotel, or event setup experience preferred * Ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods * Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills * Reliable, punctual, and professional * Able to follow setup instructions and diagrams * Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Why Work With Us Be part of a professional banquet team that supports meetings, weddings, and group events in a full-service hotel environment.
