Position Type: Student Support ServicesDate Posted: 2/9/2026Location: District WideDate Available: ImmediatelyClosing Date: When FilledDescription:Homebound/Remote Tutor: Average of 5-10 hours per week.Job Description:Ability to work flexible hours Monday-Friday when school is in session.Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of subject matter content.Identifies, selects and modifies instructional materials to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles and special needs.Travel to students homes and/or work virtually with students who are homebound.Teach prescribed academic coursework.Establishes an environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process.Utilizes effective assessment strategies to assist in the continuous development of students.Administers district assessments and provides progress reports as required.Maintains accurate records and communicates with students teachers about progress and/or assignment completion.Assists in enforcement of school rules, administrative regulations and School Board Policies.Performs other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.Qualifications:Certification and qualifications as set by the State Board of Education and the School CodeValid PEL requiredWorking Conditions:Part Time, Homebound or RemoteHourly rate: $40.00Application Procedure:Apply online, uploading cover letter, resume, etc. within application.
