The Deli Dishwasher is the "backbone" of the Deli Department. The main responsibility of the Deli Dishwasher is to wash all dishes and utensils used by the Deli and Bakery Departments and ensure the Deli Department is clean, sanitary and organized.Our Values:Service: We will treat every customer like a beloved family member or friend and find a way to say "yes" to our customers. We will be quick to respond to our customers and use "Red Truck Service" when additional assistance is needed.Work Experience Duties/ResponsibilitiesServe customers in the Deli Department while modeling Sendik's culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their businessWash, sanitize, dry and put away all dishes and utensilsEmpty and load the dishwasherClean equipment including, but not limited to, the dishwasher, Grind 2 Energy, machine and deli slicersClean Deli Department including, but not limited to, counter tops, floors, hot/cold bar and deli casesAssist with the training and mentoring of new associates in the Deli DepartmentMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and proceduresAssist with all other Deli Department duties as neededQualificationsMust be a minimum of 16 years of age due to required operation of Deli equipmentEagerness to interact with customersStrong sense of team - ability to anticipate the needs of the teamAbility to work at a fast paced and efficient mannerAbility to take initiative and make decisions independently regarding department needs and priorities,under general supervisionExcellent time management, prioritization and organization skillsAbility to stand, walk, lift, bend, push/pull for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 80 pounds
