Our experienced global development teams support universities with full-cycle implementation, technical consulting, and long-term project execution. #LI-OnsiteWe're looking for a strategic, consultative Sales Executive to help expand our presence in the higher education market. This person will be responsible for uncovering university tech initiatives, identifying project needs, and pitching our custom solution services.This role is fully onsite in our Scottsdale office.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, research, and prospect higher education institutions with upcoming or ongoing tech initiatives, ranging from CRM architecture and marketing analytics to chatbots, AI pilots, and moreBuild relationships with key stakeholders (CIOs, Directors of IT, department heads, procurement teams, etc.)Lead thoughtful discovery conversations to understand challenges and propose value-driven solutionsPitch OneOrigin's services (dedicated development teams and custom tech solutions) based on client needs, with flexibility to support a wide range of institutional priorities and technical goalsCollaborate with delivery and technical teams to shape proposals that align with capacity and capabilityMaintain accurate opportunity data in Salesforce and drive deals from discovery to closeRepresent OneOrigin at virtual and in-person higher ed events or conferences as neededWho You Are4+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling solution services or technical consultingProven success in navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholdersUnderstanding of software development processes and technical project cyclesStrong consultative selling and relationship-building skillsFamiliarity with higher education and/or public sector sales cycles is a plusExcellent communicator-able to convey complex ideas in a simple, engaging waySelf-starter with a track record of owning pipeline and delivering results
