CheckAlt is looking for a Risk & Compliance Program Manager to help us scale our risk infrastructure, embed compliance into core workflows, and strengthen how we support clients, vendors, audits, and cross-functional teams in fintech, banking, and payments. This is a high-impact, hands-on role that brings structure to complexity-building durable systems that meet regulatory expectations, operational needs, and client obligations as we grow.What You'll Do:Operationalize Risk ProcessesMaintain the enterprise risk register and track risk acceptances, mitigations, and committee follow-throughDrive corrective action plans, issue management, and regulatory control testingOwn compliance across FinCEN, Nacha, PCI, SOC, and moreLead our Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) cadenceOwn Client Due Diligence & Access ControlsExecute client onboarding risk reviews, questionnaires, and contractual risk checkpointsTrack ACH limits, onboarding conditions, and client-specific monitoring obligationsStandardize responses to client RFIs and due diligence requests across banking and enterprise clientsPartner with Security to document and improve access control governance and periodic reviewsCoordinate Compliance Across TeamsMonitor and translate changes in BSA/AML, Nacha, OCC, FFIEC, and GLBA guidance into clear internal actionsEnsure policies, procedures, and communications reflect current regulatory and client commitmentsEnable Product & Onboarding DecisionsEmbed risk assessments, approval thresholds, and exception logging into product development and onboarding workflowsMaintain risk approval logs for deviations, escalations, and risk acceptancesHelp align legal, product, and ops teams around consistent decision-making frameworksSupport Audits, Vendors & Internal ReviewsLead audit prep for SOC 2, PCI DSS, and client reviews with centralized documentation and process oversightManage internal readiness for risk committee, compliance testing, and remediation cyclesImprove vendor risk lifecycle by embedding control checks into procurement and performance oversightBuild Dashboards & Governance InfrastructureOwn KRIs, risk dashboards, and reporting for executive and board committeesPartner with SalesOps and Legal to embed risk checkpoints into Salesforce and contract workflowsBuild scalable, repeatable systems that support growth without reinventing the wheelTalents you'll bring:5-8 years in fintech, banking, payments, or BaaS risk, compliance, or operations rolesDeep familiarity with regulatory framework, vendor risk, access control, client due diligence, and audit readinessProven success building scalable programs across multiple teams or business linesComfortable working in tools like Power BI, JIRA, ServiceNow, SalesforceA systems thinker who loves building durable, cross-functional infrastructureCharacteristics you'll have:Results-oriented with the self-motivation and drive to enable client success and continuous improvement.Ability to wear multiple hats and pivot strategies and execution in a timely manner.Resourceful and collaborative with a bias towards actionA personal and business value of treating others with honesty and respect.We value the unique expertise and experience attained through military service.
