TechSource delivers solutions through hundreds of experts with decades of experience and a strong commitment to safety-centric execution.About This RoleThis role is as an Engineering role and a full-time position with TechSource and working with our client, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). We have a decades long relationship with LANL and are the prime company supporting the Scorpius project in Los Alamos, NM! In this role, you will support the construction, assembly, and integration of components for the Scorpius linear induction electron accelerator, which is part of subcritical experiment diagnostics at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and leading assembly tasks for key accelerator components (e.g., IVA, SAC assemblies, LRU-8), ensuring quality control, and collaborating with engineers and technicians.Location: This is an onsite role at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) and onsite in Mercury, NV. There is remote flexibility, but candidates should be ready to drive onsite to Mercury, NV. This is a 60-90 commute from northern Las Vegas.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate fabrication, assembly, and testing of accelerator componentsLead assembly teams and help train personnelSupport maintenance and system integration effortsWork closely with technical teams across multiple national labs and sitesEnsure compliance with quality and safety standardsRequirementsBachelor's in Engineering Technology, Science, Math, or related fieldMinimum of 8 years' of applied experience (not including internships or part time work), ideally 10+ yearsMechanical and production assembly experience working on large projects with multiple teamsWorking knowledge of GD&T, SolidWorks or CREODesired Qualifications:Familiarity with electron beam accelerator systemsExperience interpreting technical drawings and disciplined operations
